One of my workshop sponsors, Serax, is organising a trip to their showroom in Belgium next month, especially for UK florists! If you’ve not heard of Serax before, they’re an innovative Belgian company who make beautiful glassware, ceramics and home accessories. Flowers at Chicheley Hall 2011 : Part 2

I hope you enjoyed Part 1 of Flowers at Chicheley Hall 2011 yesterday. Today’s post features three international floral designers who gave demonstrations at the event, starting off with Gregor Lersch.

Gregor, who is German, has written many inspirational books on floral design. And when I was studying floristry at Southwark College, he was the first international florist that I became aware of…so it was a real treat to see him live on stage.

Flowers at Chicheley Hall 2011 : Part 1

One Sunday, earlier this month, I travelled by train to Milton Keynes in North Buckinghamshire to visit ‘Flowers at Chicheley Hall’, an amazing floral event organised by London-based florist Judith Blacklock and Fleur Events.

Over three days, there were demonstrations and workshops by some of the most influential and inspiring designers from the international floral scene including Gregor Lersch from Germany, Moniek Vanden Berghe from Belgium, Mark Pampling from Australia, plus David Ragg and Neil Whittaker from the UK.
