Today, I’m really thrilled to feature Peggy Porschen’s new book, ‘Cakes in Bloom’! I recently received a review copy and whilst reading it I was completely blown away by the truly exquisite sugarcraft flowers, which Peggy has created. In the book, she reveals her secrets to making more than 30 gorgeous life-like blooms, from roses, peonies and pansies to cherry blossom, orchids and poppies. And 24 cakes are featured including miniature cakes, large cakes and tiered cakes. Here is just a small selection…

By Appointment Only Design’s beautiful wedding flowers at the Designer Wedding Show

There were so many gorgeous wedding flowers on display at last month’s Designer Wedding Show in London.

And today, I’m delighted to feature By Appointment Only Design‘s stunning floral arrangements.

It was lovely to meet up again with Javier Salvador who I interviewed earlier in the year and meet Tony Marklew, who is the Creative Director at the company.

Stunning wedding flowers at the Designer Wedding Show

Earlier this month, I went to the Designer Wedding Show at Battersea Park in London.

It’s a very chic event featuring leading bridal wear designers together with florists, photographers, wedding cake designers, wedding venues, stationery and accessories designers. Plus, there’s a fashion show four times a day featuring gorgeous bridal fashion from the designers exhibiting at the show.

Today though I’m concentrating purely on some of the beautiful bridal blooms which were on display.
