“A few weeks ago Doddington Hall (where my cutting garden is based) held a cherry blossom festival. The blossom in the gardens is really beautiful with some spectacular blossom trees, not just cherry but crab apple, magnolia, plum, apple, pear, quince and amelanchier. The cherries are in a ‘walk’ and I just love it when they drop their petals as you walk through – it is ridiculously romantic and I look forward to those few weeks every year and refuse to go anywhere as I don’t want to miss it.… Read more
