London Olympics 2012 : The Victory Bouquet : Opportunity to buy the rose bushes!

With the Paralympic Games starting tomorrow, I thought I’d let you know that you can now buy the very rose bushes which are being used to create the Victory Bouquets for the London Olympics and Paralympics 2012.

Jane Packer, the company who have been creating the bouquets, have teamed up with You Garden to sell the bushes…and it’s part of the sustainability drive for the Olympics.

As with all the other components in the bouquet, the roses were British grown. This task was the responsibility of the UK’s largest rose plant grower, Chessum Roses in Chichester.… Read more

Jane Packer’s Victory Bouquet for medal winners at the London Olympics 2012

With the Olympics taking place in just over six weeks time, it’s recently been announced that Jane Packer have been selected to create the Victory Bouquet for the medal winners.

The bouquet was designed by their creative director, Susan Lapworth, to reflect the vibrancy and energy of the London 2012 Games.

It consists of four different types of roses sectioned into quadrants to mirror the 2012 logo. The roses being used are Illios (yellow), Marie Claire (orange), Wimbledon (green) and Aqua (pink).… Read more
