I’m delighted to feature Japanese retailer Uniqlo‘s new Limited Archive Collection for Spring/Summer 2012 which they’ve created with the quintessential English brand Laura Ashley.
The collection includes beautiful floral-inspired t-shirts, sleeveless tunics and stoles, designed using Laura Ashley archive prints.
Uniqlo have previously collaborated with Jil Sander with the +J Collection and Charlotte Ronson. This new collaboration marks the 10th anniversary of their hugely popular UT collection. And if you’re interested, UT stands for Universal T-shirts…
I love the clashing floral patterns in the image above, where a stole has been teamed up with one of the t-shirts from the range.
The design on the right below however is my favourite from the collection. And until the weather warms up, you could wear it with a black or red cardie and jeans. Then when the summer arrives, it would look great with cropped trousers.
Here are some more images from this gorgeous range…
And here’s a couple of their stoles…
Not only is the collection very pretty, but it’s also charitable.
Laura Ashley and Uniqlo will be making a donation from the net sales of the collection to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the UN agency providing protection and support to refugees worldwide.
The t-shirts, tunics and stoles are available on the Uniqlo website and in their shops…but be quick, as it’s a limited collection.
