With over fourteen years experience of working in the floristry industry, I love writing about flowers and floristry!
New Covent Garden Flower Market
Every month, I write two reports with my own photographs for New Covent Garden Flower Market. In the In Season Report, I showcase flowers, foliage, plants and sundries which are available at the Market that month. In the Florist’s Guides, I generally focus on one particular flower and take a look at all its different varieties.
Some lovely words from clients…
‘Rona has been writing two monthly blogs for us for the past three years. Her blogs are always on point, on time and combine engaging copy with awe inspiring photography. Her knowledge is astounding, her attention to detail is remarkable and quite simply, her work is brilliant. In the last three years, the number of visits to our website have increased by 50%, and Rona’s blogs have played an integral role. She’s a delight to work with and I couldn’t recommend her more.’ Alastair Owen, Communications Manager, Covent Garden Market Authority
‘Rona often contributes regular columns and features for us, and needless to say, her copy is always carefully researched and written to the highest standard. She is always in touch with the latest trends, launches and up-and-coming florists, and her expertise in flowers has been indispensable to us over the years. She’s also more than happy to source imagery to accompany her work which on a busy magazine desk is invaluable!‘ Danielle Wilkins, Associate Editor, Wedding and Wedding Flowers & Accessories
‘Rona has written our three-page flower arranging feature for the past year, and she is an absolute delight to work with. Her copy is always on time, beautifully written and put together with real care and consideration. She is happy to take on a pre-defined theme or is equally able to generate the column entirely from scratch the mark of a very versatile writer and a true expert in her field. Natalie Osborn, Deputy Editor, Homemaker
