Zita Elze’s flower shop in South West London is the focus of this Sunday’s blog post. In place of my regular Floristry Industry Insights, I thought I’d treat you to a tour of Zita’s floral emporium instead. It’s hard to believe that I’ve been visiting the shop, just before Christmas, since 2012!
With my cameras packed and face mask donned, last Saturday morning I made my annual trip over to Kew. Just a few minutes walk from Kew Gardens station, Zita’s shop and also her Flower School are located on Sandycombe Road, either end of a small parade of shops.
Yet again this year, I was totally blown away by her breath-taking festive designs! This, the first of two blog posts before Christmas, features a muted colour palette of greens and soft golds, which you’ll see as you scroll down.
Isn’t it just such a magical place?! If you’d like to find out more about Zita and her Flower School, simply head over to the Zita Elze website. Oh, and please do give Zita a follow on Instagram. Earlier this year, her Instagram was hacked and she’s now rebuilding her account.
Look out on Wednesday for Part 2, which features her stunning vibrant red yuletide designs!
P.S. Just in case you missed it back in 2011 (!), you may like to check out my interview with Zita.
