Earlier this month, I went to the Designer Wedding Show in London and over the next few Wedding Wednesdays, I’ll be featuring images of the florists’ stands at the show.
We’re starting off with one of two blog posts today showcasing a florist who I hugely admire…Zita Elze.
Earlier this year, she won ‘Best Wedding Florist’ at the Perfect Wedding Awards and also took part in the Far East’s most celebrated gardening event, the Singapore Garden Festival.
At the Designer Wedding Show, Zita created a table for each season and this blog post features Spring and Summer.
Spring
…the season of rebirth, when everything is fresh and pastel and delicate; a display of cool blues and nudes lifts the mood and looks forward to future fortunes.
An eclectic collection of floral designs…
Exquisite Cattleya orchids adorning a chair back…
Towering delphiniums…
Lily of the valley in abundance…
Such a simple, but stunning little floral arrangement…
Summer
…the warmth of summer passion is reflected in the sweetest hues of blushing pink, caramel and cream. A seated bride awaits afternoon tea, a Zoe Clark wedding cake and cupcakes, decorated as delicately as fairy gossamer.
Dainty rose buds…
Cyclamen blooms (!) arranged as a bridal bouquet…
Ranunculus, one of my favourite flowers…
Beautifully adorned cupcakes…
Miniature glass pots filled with blooms…
Simply stunning…!
Later today, I’ll be featuring Zita’s Autumn and Winter tables…so do pop back to Flowerona for more stunning wedding flower designs.
